New presenter to rev up Hedland airways
Hedland Spirit Radio has a new presenter, with Melbourne’s Robbie Klitzing taking up the mic in place of long-term host Jeff Tighe.
Originally from regional Victoria, Klitzing’s switch to radio school in Melbourne followed a life-changing stint working in the insurance industry on the east coast.
Not entirely new to the North West, Klitzing’s Pilbara sojourn follows a year of working in radio in sunny Broome.
Last week the 29-year-old hit Port Hedland airways for the morning slot from 6am.
Klitzing said the move was just the next step in his radio career.
He will cover topical news events in the worlds of technology, travel, entertainment and music, and interview community figures weekly.
