Pizza delivery driver robbed at knifepoint

A pizza delivery driver has been robbed of his daily takings at knife-point.

The incident occurred at 6.45pm on Sunday (June 21) at an address in Somerset Crescent, South Hedland.

The 27-year-old victim was allegedly threatened with a large hunting-style knife and handed over his takings from the night.

Police say a “person of interest” then ran off towards Hedditch Street.

The person of interest is described as between 20 – 25 years old, wearing a hooded, light blue jumper with zipper.

Investigating officer Constable Aaron Ogg said anyone with information should contact South Hedland police or Crime Stoppers.
