Record funds raised

Fundraising efforts have shown the hard work has paid off with a record fundraising total in the Ronald McDonald House Charities’ 25-year history.

Eastern Pilbara residents collectively raised $6363 as part of last year’s McHappy Day, which raised $3.95 million across the country, exceeding the charity’s goal of the year.

Volunteers from the Hedland community played a big role on the day back in November with numerous groups such as the South Hedland Volunteer Fire and Rescue Services giving up their time to help collect donations. Visit rmhc.org.au.
