Dozens of full-time, part-time and casual jobs will soon be available in South Hedland as the long-awaited Multi Purpose Recreation Centre nears completion.

The centre, which is set to open in July, will host a variety of recreation and leisure programs and YMCA Perth are calling on locals interested in taking up employment to get in touch.

Local YMCA area manager Darren Armstrong said he was confident the jobs would be filled.

“With a centre as new and as good as this, I’d think people would jump at the chance, especially people looking for casual work just a few hours in the afternoon,” he said.

“We want anyone who’s interested to get in touch so we can start getting ready for the opening.”
