Car racing will return to Manjimup next week as the 2026 ARC Plant Hire Karri Rally drives into town, bringing a chance for the community to meet some of the State’s top competitors.

Held on July 24 and 25, the event forms round four of the 2026 Steelweld WA Rally Championship.

The weekend will begin with the Tall Timbers Show & Shine on Brockman Street from 3.30-5pm Friday, where rally cars, drivers and co-drivers will be on display before heading into competition.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the crews, inspect the vehicles up close, collect signed posters and go into the draw to win a range of local prizes.

After the display, competitors will be officially flagged away by deputy shire president Steve Miolin, before making their way to the Cosy Creek Motocross Circuit for the opening competitive stage of the rally.

The Friday evening stage, running from 5.45pm to about 7.30pm, will see every crew complete two laps around the circuit.

The action will then continue into Saturday, with spectators enjoying high-speed action through Manjimup’s famous forests.

Manjimup local and leading co-driver Scott Beckwith said returning home for the event was always special.

“As kid growing up in Manjimup, I used to love watching the rally every year when it came to town, and the stages like Cosy Creek where I could see a lot of the action up close were always my favourite,” he said.

“It’s very cool to be coming back and putting on a show for a whole new generation.”

Spectator access to the rally is free across both days, with organisers encouraging locals and visitors to support the competitors and the volunteers who make the event possible.
