With dawn services taking place from Harvey to Augusta, the South West came out in force last week to pay their respects on Anzac Day.

The Margaret River community turned out en mass last Friday, to honour the sacrifice of service men and women on the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing.

Standing shoulder-to-shoulder at Memorial Park, the community reflected on the lives lost in conflict through service with the armed forces.

Across the South West, thousands turned out to their local memorials to do the same, standing in silence to honour those who came before.
