Women’s A Grade league leaders Aces Sky can extend their run on top of the table when they host Tornadoes Red in Friday night’s Bunbury Basketball Association showdown.

However they will need to be at their best, with 2-3 Tornadoes Red more than capable of springing a surprise.

Although they were outscored 31-6 towards the back end of Friday’s 61-38 loss against Tornadoes Black, their offensive production remained high but the ball did not want to land in the bucket.

It was exciting to see the mother-daughter combination of Sharon and Jasmine Barrett, who were both prepared to hustle on the defensive end, however they will need to step it up again this week.

One player to watch tomorrow night will be Amarah Mohammad (Aces Sky) who sunk six three-pointers during last week’s win over the Eaton Eagles. The Tornadoes Red defence cannot allow her to get the hot hand early. Tornadoes Black will need to call on all their experience to take care of the Bulls, as Karis Tingey and Brittany Gliddon have both been in excellent form.
