Canning Highway crash: Woman fighting for life after serious crash in Alfred Cove

A serious crash shut a major Perth road on Friday afternoon.

Canning Highway westbound was closed at North Lake Road in Alfred Cove about 2.40pm.

Two people were injured after two cars collided with a tree in Alfred Cove.

A St John WA spokesperson said a woman in her 60s who was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital under lights and sirens is fighting for her life.

A man in his 60s was transported to Fiona Stanley Hospital under normal road conditions.
