Estuary Bridge crash: Truck driver escapes without serious injury after Mandurah crash
A crash in Mandurah has caused traffic chaos, shutting one of the city’s bridges on Thursday afternoon.
A truck crashed into a tree on Mandurah Road near Leslie Street in Dudley Park about 3.40pm.
The impact caused the tree to fall across the road, blocking the lanes of traffic.
Firefighters were required to free the male truck driver before he was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital by RAC helicopter.
A police spokeswoman said the man did not appear to have serious injuries.
