Perth traffic: Heavy congestion for Friday commuters as Shepperton Road crash causes chaos

A crash in Victoria Park caused traffic madness for commuters on Friday afternoon.

The crash on Shepperton Road at Teddington Road westbound was reported by Main Roads at 3.31pm.

The right lanes were shut as a result of the crash, causing heavy congestion in the area.

Motorists were advised to drive carefully before the crash was cleared at 4.41pm.

Meanwhile a second crash caused traffic chaos for motorists travelling north on Tonkin Highway.

The left lane was partially blocked on Tonkin Highway near Hepburn Avenue before Main Roads cleared the crash at 4.26pm.

Traffic is now flowing in the area.
