World360 Rewards, the loyalty program from Flight Centre Travel Group, is offering members an extra 250 points when booking eligible Qantas domestic flights during September.
The bonus comes on top of the program’s usual earning rate of one World360 Rewards point for every dollar spent on the flight.
What’s interesting about this deal is that travellers don’t necessarily have to choose between loyalty programs. For instance, Qantas Frequent Flyer members can still earn their usual Qantas Points on eligible flights, while those paying with a points-earning credit card may also collect their standard card rewards.
In other words, there is an opportunity to double dip — or potentially triple dip — from the one booking.
To qualify for the September offer, you need to be a World360 Rewards member and book and pay for a Qantas-operated domestic airfare through Flight Centre, Travel Associates or Cruiseabout between September 1 and 30.
The 250 bonus points are awarded per member passenger, once per booking, and the offer is available until September 30, or until the allocated bonus points run out.
It’s worth noting that Jetstar-operated flights and codeshare services are excluded from the deal.
World360 Rewards executive general manager Clinton Hearne says the promotion is designed to make routine domestic travel work a little harder towards future holidays.
The program allows members to earn points across flights, accommodation, cruises and tours, as well as through a range of lifestyle partners.
Points can then be redeemed across Flight Centre Travel Group brands including Flight Centre, Travel Associates and Cruiseabout.
