Carnarvon will do “anything it takes” to find Cleo Smith, as the town prepares to hold a candlelit vigil for the four-year-old tonight.

Locals are rallying together in support of the Smith family, with one saying they will not rest until the little girl is back home.

The man, who only wants to be referred to as Ken, said the town want to add to the $1 million reward that is on offer for the safe return of Cleo.

They were dusting the fence line and windows for any fingerprints to see if someone had been stalking the family.

Officers said it was a completely standard process and did not mean the parents were suspects.

The vigil will be held at the local church at 6pm, and all town members are welcome to come along.
