No relief for motorists as unleaded petrol and diesel prices set to increase across Perth on Thursday

Perth motorists will not have any relief at the bowsers on Thursday, with prices continuing to surge amid the global uncertainty of the US-Iran war.

Unleaded petrol will be sold for an average of 240.5 cents across the metropolitan area, up from 239.9 on Wednesday, marking roughly 60 cents more than last Thursday’s price.

Liberty in Beckenham, near Gosnells, will be the cheapest place to fuel up in the State at 207.9 per litre, with prices hitting a maximum of 262.0.

Caltex will have the highest average petrol prices at 247.9, followed by EG Ampol at 245.4, with Vibe the cheapest brand at 234.9.

Diesel will skyrocket again on Thursday to a staggering average of 279.5 cents per litre, up 6.6 cents from Wednesday, with E85 averaging 279.9, the same it sold for on Wednesday.

Bunbury’s unleaded fuel average is cheaper than anywhere else in the State at 237.7, with a minimum of 225.5.

Port/South Hedland will sell unleaded for an average of 255.6, with the most expensive pumps at 268.8.

Prices have increased at every area in the State for every brand.
