Donald Trump, Epstein files: US President unleashes on ‘weakling’ MAGA supporters over release requests

US President Donald Trump has unleashed on his supporters who are demanding the release of the files related to disgraced financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
In a social media outburst, Mr Trump referred to his own MAGA supporters as “weaklings” who have bought into a “bulls..t” scam that has been orchestrated by the “radical left Democrats”.
“Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this... hook, line, and sinker,” the US President wrote on Truth Social.
Mr Trump’s statement comes amid controversy over the Epstein files and a “client list” that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced last week did not exist.
According to a memo released by the FBI, investigators conducted a review of holdings related to Epstein, which included digital searches of its databases, hard drives, and network drives, as well as physical searches of areas where material may have been stored.
But the review revealed no incriminating client list.
“There was no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions,” the memo stated.
The FBI added that it would not disclose any further documents related to Epstein or his suicide in a New York prison cell.
The US President also attacked the Democratic Party for spinning the “fake” narrative around Epstein.
“They are no good at governing, no good at policy, and no good at picking winning candidates.
“They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.
“I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any President in our Country’s history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” Mr Trump said.
“Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!”
Epstein, a wealthy financier and convicted sex offender, was facing federal charges of sex-trafficking minors when he died in prison in 2019.
He had pleaded not guilty, and the case was formally closed almost three weeks after his death.
