Fork out thousands for Walt Disney World Galactic Starcruiser hotel experience, you will

Walt Disney World has released more details about its new Galactic Starcruiser hotel and as you’d expect for a journey to a ‘galaxy far, far away’, the cost to stay there will be out of this world.

Just two nights in a standard cabin for two guests will set you back about $6500.

Prices astronomically jump to more than $7000 once you start adding kids and extra guests to the same room.

Suite accommodations are even higher.

But with closed borders and what seems like a never-ending cycle of lockdowns, perhaps an escape to outer space will be just what the doctor ordered for die-hard Star Wars fans at the end of this pandemic.

Set to open in spring 2022, World Disney World is promising an immersive two-day “Star Wars” experience that will make guests feel like they are the hero of the popular sci-fi movies, with tech more advanced than any other Disney experience currently on offer.

There will be lightsaber experiences, interstellar entertainment and beloved characters from the franchise hanging around the hotel, which will feel so much like a luxury cruise through the galaxy, even the windows will look out into “space”.

According to Walt Disney World’s website: “Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is like nothing else you’ve ever experienced: part live immersive theatre, part themed environment, part culinary extravaganza, part real-life role-playing game and yet so much more.”

The package includes food and non-alcoholic beverages.
