Vic teenager charged with murder

A Victorian boy has been charged with murder over the death of Jason Langhans.

The 17-year old was allegedly assaulted at a party in Tooradin, southeast of Melbourne, on March 21.

Langhans died in hospital on April 10.

A 17-year-old boy from Bell Post Hill in Geelong was charged with one count of murder.

He was due to face a children's court on Wednesday afternoon.

Victoria Police said two other males were released without charge.
