The West Australian
Video7NEWS Perth live broadcast.

Premier Mark McGowan is due to give a COVID-19 update, 11 days after Western Australia opened its borders to the rest of Australia.

WA opened its borders to all States on November 14, but New South Wales and Victoria arrivals must quarantine.

A day after the long-awaited reopening, Mr McGowan imposed quarantine restrictions on South Australians after an outbreak in the State.

As of yesterday, WA had 25 active cases of COVID-19, including four new overseas cases.

WA has recorded 808 cases since the start of the pandemic and nine deaths.
