Seven of Melbourne’s premiership stars have immortalised their drought-breaking flag in ink, with one Demon opting to emblazon his butt cheek with the club logo.

Skipper Max Gawn got his second tattoo of the week but this time was joined by Norm Smith Medallist Christian Petracca, Jake Lever, Angus Brayshaw and WA recruits Luke Jackson, Kysaiah Pickett and Trent Rivers on the chair.

Jackson still had his premiership medal around his neck as he celebrated his 20th birthday at the parlour, Capone Ink Perth in St James.

“What a pleasure! Thanks to the Melbourne boys for coming in and getting your tattoos done,” the business captioned a photo of the seven players and tattoo artists read.

The “black and grey specialists” posted photos of the premiership players getting inked on their Instagram Story, including Angus Brayshaw getting his butt cheek tattooed with the Melbourne Football Club logo and “2021” written underneath.

Pickett, Petracca and Lever opted to ink their lower legs instead.

It’s believed the players got matching tattoos to mark the historic grand final victory on Saturday night.

Melbourne claimed their first flag in 57 years after defeating the Western Bulldogs by 74 points in front of more than 60,000 fans at Optus Stadium.

The Demons are expected to fly out of Perth tomorrow morning but players with family in WA are likely to stick around with Victoria in the midst of a COVID outbreak.

It comes after days of celebrations for the club, which kicked off on Saturday night in the city.
