VideoAFL: A gritty performance from the reigning Premiers saw Richmond Tigers beat Carlton by 25 points at the MCG to start the 2021 season.

Fremantle members are expected to receive their digital tickets for the round two home season-opener on Monday night.

The Dockers have outlined a similar ticketing process to West Coast, ahead of their first home game of the season against Greater Western Sydney at Optus Stadium next Sunday.

Match tickets are expected to be available for download through members’ MyFreo accounts from Monday.

Members will be emailed further instructions at the time the tickets become available and are encouraged to download the club’s app.

The Dockers’ seated membership is well under the 75 per cent crowd cap in place and members are expected to be able to return to their usual seats for the first time since 2019.

The attendance limit will cause few issues for Fremantle, whose average home crowds in 2018 (41,764) and 2019 (40,896) were under the present limit.

“At our current capacity of 75 per cent, we are confident there will be minimal impact to members’ regular reserved seating at Optus Stadium,” the club said in an email to members.

Fremantle members who do not have a smart phone are asked to email the club at membership@fremantlefc.com.au.

General public tickets for the Fremantle v GWS match are expected to go on sale later next week.

Due to COVID-19 protocols, every person — including babies — will require a ticket to enter Optus Stadium this season, even if they do not occupy a seat.
