Every Giants player will have the number 34 as part of their playing kit throughout the AFLW season in an ongoing tribute to Jacinda Barclay.

Barclay died at the age of 29 in her home in Western Australia last October.

The multi-talented sports star had been with the Giants since 2017, and also appeared for the Australian women's baseball team in five World Cups.

The Giants paid tribute to Barclay at the end of their recent practice match against Adelaide.
