On Monday, it was announced Georgiades had secured his second nomination for his 15-disposal effort in the win over Carlton at the MCG.

Georgiades was taken by Port Adelaide with pick 18 in the 2019 AFL Draft.

He played seven games in his debut year before making the most of his opportunity in 2021.

Left out of his side’s round one win over North Melbourne, Georgiades was the late replacement for Todd Marshall in Port’s round two clash with Essendon.

And after an impressive four-goal haul, the WA rising star cemented his place in the Power forward line already boasting the likes of Charlie Dixon.

Georgiades, the son of former Footscray player John, has played every game in 2021 since his last-minute round two call-up.

Against the Blues, Georgiades finished with 15 touches, three goals, five inside 50s and one goal assist.
