AFLW Awards: Footy stars stun in Melbourne as Abbie Chatfield joins due to Peking Duck performance
AFLW stars have started to arrive on the red carpet in Melbourne and are set to receive footy’s highest honours this evening.
The women were snapped on the red carpet wearing an array of sequins and silks before they took their seats for the awards night.
The night is set to be headlined by the awarding of the league’s top gong, the AFLW Best and Fairest, with North Melbourne pair Ash Riddell and Jasmine Garner among the top contenders.
Abbie Chatfield joined the occasion likely due to her partner, Adam Hyde — half of the duo Peking Duk — getting the call up to headline the pre-game entertainment at Saturday’s AFLW grand final.
