Perth Scorchers pumped for sold-out clash with Melbourne Stars which could decide title hopes

Perth Scorchers — the biggest hits of the summer — are hitting the big stage again for a sold-out clash that could decide their title hopes.
The Scorchers will finish on top of the Big Bash League ladder and enter the finals as raging hot championship favourites if they beat long-time rivals Melbourne Stars at Optus Stadium.
Tickets for the match — which is the Scorchers’ last regular season match — were all snapped up by Friday morning, with anticipation kicked into overdrive when star import Finn Allen blasted a century against Melbourne Renegades on Thursday night.

Perth players returned to home on Thursday afternoon ahead of the bumper clash.
Scorchers star Joel Paris said massive home crowds genuinely lift the players.
“We’ve had incredible crowds already this year ... but this will be massive,” he said.
“The home support here is amazing and as players we really feel that, certainly in those tight moments of games it makes a massive difference. Hopefully we can put on a show.”
