Nick Kyrgios spotted partying at Melbourne nightclub just hours before mixed-doubles clash
Nick Kyrgios’s commitment to his tennis career is again being questioned after he was spotted partying at a nightclub just hours before a mixed-doubles clash.
Vision has emerged of Kyrgios on the tear, partying at Melbourne nightclub Bar Bambi way into the small hours of Sunday night and early Monday morning.

He was reportedly one of the last to leave the inner-city hotspot and then hours later fronted up for his second round mixed doubles match with Leylah Fernandez.
Another video has also emerged of Kyrgios arguing with security staff at another bar in South Yarra at 7am on Sunday morning.
It was reported that Kyrgios was heard ranting about Prime Minister Anthony Albanese before being, allegedly, asked to leave the premises (although no one is suggesting Kyrgios did anything wrong).
A member of the Kyrgios entourage is also seen trying to calm Kyrgios down outside the Commercial Road venue (Circus Bar).
Unsurprisingly, he lost that match on Monday, bowing out in straight sets, 6-3 6-1, to Anna Danilina and American JJ Tracy.
TikTok user rcueaus posted vision of Kyrgios at the club with the caption, “TENNIS ? WHAT TENNIS? ... Nick Kyrgios - The life of the party on and off the court.”
Kyrgios is 30 years old and continues to battle various injuries.
He was too banged up to compete in the singles tournament at the Aus Open and was punted from the men’s doubles with good mate Thanasi Kokkinakis who is dealing with his own injury issues.
He played his first mix doubles clash with bandages on both knees, and seemed to enjoy the boisterous crowd at ANZ Arena.
“That was some of the most craziest energy that I’ve had,” Kyrgios said afterwards.
“I’ve obviously played some amazing matches at the AO but that’s got to be one of my favourite ones.
“(We were) 9-6 down, 7-3. Realistically, tennis players don’t always believe you can come back.
“But I was like, ‘If we just went one at a time, maybe we can do it.’
“The crowd were amazing all day. They stayed, they hung around and it was amazing. I’m really excited for our next round.”
Canadian Fernandez credited Kyrgios for keeping them in their first-round match but one wonders what she would be thinking about her doubles partner after the second-round exit.
Kyrgios — who has refused to get a coach over the years — continues to enhance his reputation as party animal rather than serious tennis player.
He reportedly bumped into Carlos Alcaraz the other day and said to the Spaniard: “You are my favourite player.”
He then told Alcaraz — the No.1 seed who is on a mission to win his first Aus Open title after claiming every other grand slam — that he had to win the crown.
“You have to win so we can party all night,” Kyrgios reportedly said while promising to organise the celebrations.
After making the final at Wimbledon in 2022, Kyrgios has slid down the world rankings from as high as 13 to his current standing at 673.
