REVEALED: Where every former West Coast Eagle will play next season as Callum Jamieson settles on landing spot

He’s no longer a part of West Coast’s AFL set-up, but Callum Jamieson will return to the Eagles’ WAFL side next season. The West Australian can reveal the utility will again line up in the blue-and-gold at local level next year, joining former Collingwood forward Ash Johnson and Kyambram teenager Archie Watt in signing for the WAFL Eagles in 2026. Jamieson, 25, played 17 AFL games for West Coast after being drafted with pick No.49 in 2019 out of Claremont, but battled injury for much of his career. He spent the majority of his time in their WAFL side, featuring in a variety of roles in his 36 games, including ruckman and key defender. Jamieson becomes the latest former Eagle to land at a state league club after speedster Jack Petruccelle signed with Subiaco, where he will join former West Coast assistant coach Jarrad Schofield. Petruccelle landed at the Lions after 90 games and 71 goals for West Coast across nine seasons. Rookie forward Loch Rawlinson has returned to Sturt in the SANFL after being let go following only one game in two seasons on the list after being taken with the first pick in the rookie draft of 2024. Former next generation academy ruckman Coen Livingstone is yet to decide on a new club with several bidding for his services. Livingstone won’t return to Perth, where he was recruited from. East Fremantle, Subiaco and West Perth are all believed to be in the market for the 20-year-old. The West Australian can confirm that retired wingman Jayden Hunt has no plans to play next year after 172 AFL games, including 58 in three seasons at the Eagles. Eagles great Jeremy McGovern is almost certain to not play again after being medically retired due to concussion issues, while it is unclear if fellow retiree Dom Sheed will play anywhere in 2026.
