West Coast Eagles player ratings: Tim Kelly and Nic Naitanui the standouts in loss to Richmond Tigers

Tim Kelly 9.5: Outstanding in the midfield. Had 40 possessions, kicked two goals and won nine clearances.

Nic Naitanui 9: Kicked a great left foot goal and his ruckwork was a reminder of what the Eagles have missed.

Jamie Cripps 8.5: His workrate was a highlight. Kicked three goals from 24 disposals.

Jake Waterman 8: Took 10 marks, kicked a goal and was a constant presence as a forward.

Tom Barrass 7.5: Sacrificed his intercept marking to stop Lynch and kept him to six touches and two goals.

Liam Duggan 7: Gave the team drive off half-back with 361 metres gained.

Shannon Hurn 6.5: Was an important intercept player given Barrass put his focus on stopping Lynch.

Jamaine Jones 6.5: His ability to create from half-back was important and he made things happen.

Jack Redden 6.5: Was good in the midfield with 24 disposals but fell away in the second half.

Jack Darling 6.5: Didn’t have big stats in his 250th game but provided a target and his contests created multiple goals

Andrew Gaff 6: Collected 21 possessions on the wing without being really damaging.

Brady Hough 6: Took another step forward with 21 possessions and his first quarter was really impressive.

Willie Rioli 5: Had a big first term and finished with 15 disposals and one goal.

Liam Ryan 5: Kicked one goal and brought others into the game.

Josh Rotham 3: Didn’t have a big involvement in defence.

Connor West 3: Hardly touched the ball. Only seven disposals.

Bailey Williams 3: Struggled to impact in the ruck when Naitanui was resting.
