If you dream of sailing the calm clear waters along the Adriatic coast on a private yacht, small ship specialist Sail Croatia may just float your boat.

The UK-based business, which offers small ship cruising, bareboat charter, flotilla sailing and skippered private yacht tours around Croatia, has added three brand new vessels to its yachting portfolio for 2024, following strong demand for its Private Yacht Tours.

The two new luxury catamarans and brand-new yacht will arrive in time for the start of the European summer, increasing the company’s impressive sailing fleet to 19 vessels.

Hound Dog, a Lagoon 46 catamaran, and Slice of Heaven, a Lagoon 55 catamaran, will become the largest in the Sail Croatia fleet. Both vessels can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests plus a skipper and a host if needed.

The yacht, named Morpheus after the god of dreams, is a beautiful Hanse 548 that can accommodate up to six guests in three cabins.

All three boats will operate seven-night private yacht tours that include the services of a fully qualified skipper so guests can simply sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning coastline.

There are no fixed itineraries for the trips; guests can liaise with their skipper who will choose a route that best suits their wishes.

Grant Seuren, director of Sail Croatia, says thanks to the combination of calm, crystal clear waters, picturesque towns and dramatic scenery, Croatia continues to grow in popularity as a holiday destination.

“There is plenty to explore whatever your interests, and sailing on a luxury catamaran or yacht allows you to choose your own itinerary and see the very best of the Dalmatian coast at your own pace,” he says.

Those looking for a sailing yacht can spend seven nights on Morpheus from €5839 euros ($9620) for the April 8 and April 15, 2024, departures. This is based on six people sharing and equates to around $1600 per person.

Prices include the seven-night sailing trip from Split, airport transfers, the services of a qualified skipper, damage waiver insurance, fuel and local taxes.
