Six people, including two children and one teenager, have been taken to hospital after a horror crash east of Bunbury.

At about 2pm on Saturday emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash near Pile Road and Ferguson Road in Henty.

Two children, one teenager, a woman in her 30s, a woman in her 50s and a woman in her 60s were involved.

The teenager has been taken to Donnybrook hospital. All others involved were taken to Bunbury hospital.

The woman in her 60s was rushed to hospital under lights and sirens. All others involved were taken to hospital via normal road conditions.

A St John WA spokesperson said the woman in her 60s is seriously injured while the others have injuries that are not life threatening.

It is understood one vehicle was driving two occupants and the other was driving four.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services said one person was trapped inside a vehicle and had to be extricated via the jaws of life.
