Woogenellup crash: RAC rescue helicopter sent to help teenage girl trapped in car after crashing into tree

The RAC rescue helicopter is flying to a serious crash in Woogenellup, in the Great Southern region, where a teenage girl is trapped in her car.

Emergency services were alerted to the crash on Knight Road, east of Mount Barker, at 12.04pm on Saturday.

The vehicle left the road and hit a tree at “high velocity”, according to a Department of Fire Emergency Services spokesperson.

The teenage driver is believed to be trapped in the vehicle.

Four crews from Albany and Mt Barker fire and rescue services have been dispatched to assist.
