Port Hedland Turf Club was a hive of activity last weekend as thousands of people turned up to enjoy the Town of Port Hedland’s version of a regional royal show.

The Spinifex Spree is an annual carnival-style event held over two days, offering punters an array of entertainment.

This year’s star attractions included show bag stalls, bumper cars, stilt-walkers, Old Macdonald’s Travelling Farm, amusement rides, live entertainment and more than 80 market stalls selling everything from food to hand-crafted goods.
