Hero happy to serve

A Paraburdoo woman has been crowned Western Australia’s Coles Express Community Hero for her outstanding customer service skills and commitment to the Pilbara community.

Wonggha woman Kylie Beck took out the award for being a dedicated employee and for facilitating sporting opportunities for local children.

Ms Beck said she was honoured to receive the award and was excited to take on a new role as assistant store manager this month.

“I love getting out and involved in the community, and the store really is my happy place, so to receive an award recognising all of that is just fantastic,” she said.

Coles Express Paraburdoo store manager Gavin Chai said Kylie was consistently going above and beyond to help others.
