RECAP: West Coast Eagles fall short against Collingwood as debutant Jobe Shanahan impresses
West Coast showed fight at Marvel Stadium but despite leading at halftime, could not get the job done against Collingwood.
Debutant Jobe Shanahan joined Brady Hough as one of two changes for the visitors, with co-captain Oscar Allen and speedster Tyrell Dewar injured.
Charlie Dean and debutant Charlie West replace Billy Frampton and Beau McCreery for the Pies, who have only lost two games in 2025.

The Eagles have shown big beltings are becoming an aberration, even on the road.
They forced Collingwood to have to weather a storm and change tactics to beat them.
And despite sitting bottom of the ladder, the Eagles refused to let Collingwood run away from them.
Every time the Pies got a run, the Eagles responded and in the end it was three missed set shots in the final term that cost the visitors a chance at victory.
Baker ends with 35 disposals, one more than Nick Daicos in an outstanding night for the former Tiger.
McCarthy had the second-most disposals for the Eagles with 29 in just his second game to go with 639 metres gained.
West Coast had more disposals but ended up narrowly losing the inside 50s and were 13 short in clearances.

Baker has become just the second Eagle to reach 30 disposals this season.
He has 32 at the moment plus five tackles and has been massive.
The Eagles are trying to move fast through the middle but keep turning the ball over.
