Perth diners were treated to a taste of the South West on Tuesday as Dunsborough’s Yarri Restaurant + Bar officially launched its six-week residency at Crown Perth.
Regarded as one of the State’s leading regional eateries, Yarri’s venture closer to the city was headed by award-winning executive chef Aaron Carr.
Welcoming local VIPs, politicians and media personalities to the opening night, the restaurant showcased its signature approach to modern Australian cuisine, spotlighting premium WA produce and seasonal ingredients.
Notable attendees included Triple M Perth radio presenters Xavier Ellis and Katie Lamb, Crown Perth CEO Brian Pereira, and Libby Mettam MLA, with former The Voice winner Reuben De Melo entertaining the crowd.
Ahead of the opening, Chef Carr said he looked forward to welcoming those who may have previously driven hours to dine with him, as well as those curious to learn what they were missing out on.

“For many of our guests, Yarri has long been a destination worth travelling for — so to now have that same quality and sense of place available here in Perth is a fantastic outcome,” he said.
“It gives our guests access to an exceptional regional offering, without the need to travel south, and further strengthens Crown as a dining destination.”
Local diners can expect the kingfish, rich lamb, and vibrant vegetable plates to be crowd-pleasers.
Yarri will operate out of the space formerly home to Bistro Guillaume until September 5.
