Denmark’s Raintree Estate is looking to expand its partnership with tiny home accommodation brand Heyscape with a proposal to build a series of chalets on the agritourism farm open for public comment.

The proposal, which is lodged across five development applications, details 12 chalets and a caretaker’s residence across Lots 2617 and 2618 Richardson Road, Ocean Beach; Lots 304 and 305 Wentworth Road, Ocean Beach; and Lot 3468 Privett Road, William Bay.

The new chalets would add to the three already located nearby The Dam restaurant, bringing the total number of cabins to 15.

Owned by Kristie Birkbeck and Rowan Shaun Jenkin, Raintree is a 356ha agritourism hub that hosts Cannabis Botanical Distillery, The Dam and an amphitheatre.

The short-stay sites would operate as a co-ordinated holiday accommodation business with a single point of management at The Dam.

Each tiny home chalet would have a 17sqm floor space with an outdoor deck and bath.

Heyscape specialises in eco-friendly tiny homes with the niche accommodation provider already having locations in Busselton, Esperance, Chittering and Yallingup.
