Port breaks records

Pilbara Ports Authority is showing increased throughputs throughout the Pilbara with new monthly records being made in Port Hedland.

PPA has delivered a total throughput of 60.5 million tonnes for December last year, an increase of 12 per cent from 2015.

The Port of Port Hedland achieved a throughput of 44.5 Mt, an increase of 17 per cent and a new monthly record for the Port.

Imports totalled 83,000 tonnes, a 13 per cent increase from 2015.
