Top 10 destinations for Round the World ticket

The 15 airlines that are part of the oneworld alliance fly to more than 1000 destinations.

And oneworld has crunched the data from this huge source and released its first list of the top 10 stopover destinations for people flying on Round the World tickets in 2026.

First, to explain that. Buying a oneworld Round the World ticket might be a good trick for some travellers, as it is a single ticket that allows flexible travel to more than 900 global destinations for up to 12 months.

And new data shows 66 per cent of those buying a Round the World ticket are solo travellers, visiting an average of seven destinations over three or more months.

The oneworld alliance offers three different Round the World tickets.

THE TOP 10

Australian travellers are near the top of those “most likely” to take a Round the World trip in the future. Japan tops the list, followed by Australia, the UK, the US, and Hong Kong.
